The Blue Marble Radical Cup North America series will make its 2023 return to Circuit of the Americas (COTA) this weekend with a competitive driver lineup of 25 cars. Gregg Gorski, the driver of the #24 One Motorsports entry, currently sits in third in the Pro 1500 championship and looks to add to his growing results resume this weekend in Austin, Texas.
After clinching his first win of the season in the Pro 1500 class on the Streets of Toronto, Gorski is looking forward to returning to the Circuit of the Americas to defend his podium results from 2022. Looking to return to the top step of the podium and repeat his success from Toronto, the drive and determination are there after his first Radical Cup victory. Looking back to 2022, the Las Vegas native took home a pair of second-place finishes and three top-five results but will be wanting to take it one step further this year.
“The One Motorsports team and I were itching for that first win in Toronto,” explained Gorski. “And we got it so it’s all about carrying that momentum into COTA this weekend and hopefully we can gain a few more podiums and championship points along the way.”
Gregg and the rest of the Radical Cup competitors will begin their weekend with a track walk Thursday evening and will see their first on track action Friday morning with a pair of tests followed by their first official practice of the weekend. Practice two will continue Saturday morning followed by qualifying and the first wheel-to-wheel battle will take place that afternoon in race one. Sunday will close out the weekend with two final races on the famed Formula 1 track.
